Privacy Policy

When you volunteer to give feedback, we store your email address, trade, optional company name, consent choice, launch-form identifier, and basic acquisition source. We use these details to arrange the feedback conversation you requested. Product marketing is optional. Older founder-list submissions may also include the pricing-test variant shown at the time. The form is not required to download or use BuildSlip.

The iPhone and iPad app stores projects, customer details, prices, photos, signatures, PDFs, and audit history locally and synchronizes them through the private CloudKit database of the Apple iCloud account signed in on the device when available. This is used for app functionality and cross-device recovery. BuildSlip does not receive job record contents for advertising or product analytics.

The website records limited first-party events such as page view, demo interaction, sample PDF download, pricing view, App Store link click, and feedback-form completion. A random identifier is stored in your browser to group visits; campaign source and limited interaction details may also be recorded. These events do not include app customer records, signatures, jobsite photos, or field prices. An App Store link click does not tell us whether you installed or purchased the app.

We do not sell personal information. App data is stored on your device and, when enabled and available, in your iCloud account until deleted through the app’s data controls. Hosting and communication providers process website and contact data to provide those services. Apple handles App Store distribution and in-app purchases. We retain feedback contact details while the requested conversation or consented product communication remains active, or until you request deletion. You can request deletion of older founder-list submissions too.

Marketing consent is optional. You can unsubscribe from marketing or request access, correction, or deletion by emailing privacy@buildslip.com.
